France-based international IPP EREN Renewable Energy has chosen the Breeze and Bright systems for management of its wind farms and solar PV sites worldwide. This marks the first French solar plant owner to be installed in Bright.
The U.S. now has more than 74GW of wind energy with another 10GW under construction. By the end of the year, nearly 50,000 wind turbines will be harnessing American winds. Many of them are located in one of the world’s greatest concentrations of dynamic energy: the vast windy belt from the Canadian Prairies to northern Mexico.
With many of our customers moving into solar we are now expanding our product portfolio into solar photovoltaics with the launch of Bright. Last week I spent two days in San Francisco at the Solar Asset Management conference to learn more about asset management of solar photovoltaics and what it means to our customers and products from a data perspective.
Today we are officially launching Bright, a modern software service built to assist solar PV owners and operators in capturing the true potential of their assets. Much like Breeze for wind, Bright connects remotely to solar PV sites regardless of model or brand, resulting in a single system to monitor, analyze and optimize industry-scale solar PV portfolios.
