Mother Nature, Corona and Greenbyte
Mother Nature has had enough. She is now showing us who is in charge. We have been inhabiting her planet for 10,000 years and in the last 100 years we have exploited her wealth and generosity.

Jonas Corné
CEO, Greenbyte
Epidemiologists tell us that more than half of the world’s population will be infected. Statisticians tell us that by May, with the power of exponential growth the virus will have infected more than 1 billion people.
2020 is not off to a good start. But nature and humanity have a strong ability to adapt to new conditions. We have done so before and will do so this time as well.
Maybe a common enemy is exactly what the world needs to join forces and fight climate change for our long-term survival. I read somewhere that Climate Change should hire the Corona Virus’s publicist. But maybe this enemy will split the world even further feeding the nationalistic frenzy. It is up to all of us to decide.
We love to meet our customers in person. But during the next few weeks, we have decided to not travel. We have also decided to not spend so much time together and instead work more from home.
Many organizations worldwide have for a long time been spreading the gospel of remote work as a tool to increase productivity. At Greenbyte we choose to look at the bottle of hand disinfectant as half full instead of half empty and see this as an opportunity to do a remote working experiment.
Our commitment to support our customers remains exactly the same, albeit with more video and less travel when it comes to meetings. While Mother Nature shows us who is in charge we will continue to build Greenbyte into the best product for owners of renewables to increase energy production.
As always, we remain at the service of our customers.
