How do I access Greenbyte Energy Cloud?
Greenbyte Energy Cloud is a web-based software as a service that can be accessed from any web browser. Once you log in, you can create an unlimited number of users for your organization.
How much does Greenbyte Energy Cloud cost?
The price depends on capacity, i.e., how many megawatts you wish to have installed. It’s a sliding scale, so the bigger your capacity, the lower the price per megawatt.

What forms of energy are supported with Greenbyte Energy Cloud?
We currently support wind and solar PV and we will add hydro soon.
How are assets installed in Greenbyte Energy Cloud?
We capture data coming from wind farms and solar PV sites, regardless of location or manufacturer. We do this remotely, so we don’t need to travel to the site. This requires an internet connection available on site.
We then work with your engineers to establish a secure connection to each of your site’s data services. The data communications protocol differs, but they all share a common goal: to reliably deliver data from the assets to Greenbyte Energy Cloud. Data security is critical and industry standards like VPN, SSL, IPsec and encryption are always used.
Once the connection is established, data from the assets, like wind speed, irradiance, rotor speed, and power is mapped into Greenbyte Energy Cloud, where your assets have been configured to make the data visible and ready for you to display.
Can I integrate assets from different OEMs in Greenbyte Energy Cloud?
Yes. We have broad experience working with many wind OEMs and solar PV systems. Contact us for more information.
How is Greenbyte Energy Cloud different from other software?
Greenbyte Energy Cloud is a modern, SaaS solution that is continuously updated. We support multiple energy types in the same service, allowing you to manage your assets from a single interface.
Because we are independent and not affiliated with any OEM, consultant, or non-neutral party, Greenbyte Energy Cloud works equally well with assets from any manufacturer.

Greenbyte Energy Cloud is hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers with state-of-the-art security characteristics and access controls. Greenbyte Energy Cloud is divided into multiple private clouds further divided into multiple network segments. Multiple layers of load-balancers, firewalls, routing components and user access lists are controlling access and data flow between segments.
Protection against Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks is managed by leveraging best practices, a multi-tier platform structure, and various services that are available within the AWS infrastructure.
All data within Greenbyte Energy Cloud is backed up daily, or on-demand when circumstances require. Critical data storage pools are always N-way redundant to further minimize risk of data loss.
Customer data within Greenbyte Energy Cloud is the property of the customer throughout the full lifecycle of the service.
