Having scanned the market for a suitable wind farm management system for years, BayWa r.e. finally chose Greenbyte Energy Cloud in the beginning of 2016. The company's goal was to work more efficiently, improve performance and become more competitive in the market – something that was extra important as electricity prices were declining.
Axel Lembke is the head of wind operations from BayWa r.e. and he considers Greenbyte Energy Cloud a great competitive advantage in the industry.
What does your portfolio look like?
Our portfolio is 1.4 GW of wind and solar in total - and that’s a lot! - but 1 GW of wind energy.
How long have you been using Greenbyte Energy Cloud for?
We have been using Greenbyte Energy Cloud since the beginning of 2016.
Why do you use Greenbyte Energy Cloud?
We investigated the software market for our business operation management for four years and we were not really satisfied with the other kinds of software. Finally, we found Greenbyte Energy Cloud and we are very excited.
How has Breeze changed your way of working?
We wanted to become more efficient in our work, that’s why we chose Greenbyte Energy Cloud. Finally, because now we are much more competitive in the operation management market, and that’s what we need with the prices going down for wind energy.
To whom would you recommend Greenbyte Energy Cloud?
Let me say, normally I would recommend it to every operational management company but then we would lose our advantage on the market that we have at the moment.
