I am on the plane returning from the New Energy Update Conference in Munich and a number of themes are spinning through my head. The conference was divided into Wind, Solar and Energy Storage tracks. During the conference I tried to catch what I thought was most interesting on the three different tracks and here are my reflections.

The team at Greenbyte has been working on a series of infographics on renewable energy production in the European Union. After covering Germany, the UK, France and Spain it is now time to take a closer look at the renewable electricity generation in Sweden.
DNV GL just released their Energy Transition Outlook. Interestingly enough it is not scenario based as many reports are, but rather 'a most likely future'. The key take away from the report for a company like ours: Wind and solar going from 1 TW to 25 TW in 2050, a CAGR close to 10% over 35 years.
